About SoScool
SoScool™ is a learning app designed for children, with information and guidance also provided for parents and carers.
We take children’s privacy seriously and have designed SoScool to work without requiring a child to create an account or provide personal information.
Information We Collect
SoScool does not ask children to provide their:
- name
- email address
- home address
- phone number
- date of birth
- photographs
- precise location
SoScool does not include social networking, messaging, advertising or user-generated public content.
Subscriptions and Payments
SoScool offers an annual membership through Apple’s App Store.
Purchases are processed securely by Apple using StoreKit. SoScool does not receive or store your Apple Account password, payment-card details or other banking information.
The app may receive information from Apple that is necessary to confirm whether a SoScool subscription is active so that paid learning content can be unlocked.
Children’s Privacy
SoScool is designed to minimise the collection of personal information from children.
Children do not need to register, create a profile or provide contact details to use the app.
Parents and carers are responsible for approving purchases made through the App Store.
Advertising and Tracking
SoScool does not contain third-party advertising.
SoScool does not use personal information to track children across other companies’ apps or websites.
External Services
Apple provides the App Store purchasing and subscription services used by SoScool. Apple processes information according to its own privacy practices and policies.
Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy if SoScool’s features or legal requirements change. Any updated version will be published on this website.
